OVERVIEW

Laser Medicine

Laser medicine is based on mechanisms such as photothermal, photochemical, and biostimulation effects. It achieves therapeutic effects by absorbing light and converting its energy into thermal energy via organ and tissue materials. This process destroys abnormal cells, fragments foreign bodies, and performs cutting and peeling procedures. Through photochemical effects, whereby laser light interacts with tissue molecules to alter tissue properties, it can seal and coagulate tissue, treat cancer, and remove pigmented lesions. Through biostimulation effects, laser medicine enhances cellular metabolism and boosts immunity. Advantages of laser medicine include minimal bleeding, minimally invasive and pain-free procedures, high safety, rapid postoperative recovery and minimal side effects. Laser medicine is playing an increasingly significant role in medicine, with applications including laser lithotripsy for urinary stones, laser prostate enucleation surgery, minimally invasive laryngeal surgery, and varicose vein closure.
The Changjin Thulium-Doped Series Fibre supports structural designs for fibre laser main oscillation power amplification, achieving high peak power output, near-diffraction-limited beam quality (M² <1.2), high optical efficiency and high power stability. It meets the requirements of thulium-doped fibre laser systems and thulium-holmium co-doped laser systems with all-fibre structures. It provides solutions for laser medical aesthetics applications, offering multiple wavelength options (1.9–2.05 μm) and different average power levels and pulse modes (continuous or single/multimode).
